Dear Mum and Dad,

There were big lantern statues and blinking headbands on people's heads.  Also I saw fun rides to ride on.  I heard clusters of people talking and shouting all around the night markets that were selling lanterns.  Also, I heard loud classic music.  I could smell fresh air every where.  There were the smell of fish and chips too.  I felt the cold fresh wind blowing.  The ground was hard and rocky as a rocky mountain.  Also I felt my mum's nice warm hand.  I tasted the water melon smoothie in my mouth.  Also I tasted meat balls in my mouth too.

Reflection:
We have been learning to describe a setting by using our senses.
I enjoyed making people guess where I was.
Something I found tricky was coming up with a taste idea.
Next time Im going to try to add more detail.
